The Safety Director at CineBlox will play a key role in shaping the future direction of our new Safety Department, ensuring that our in-game moderation is the best that it can be. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about keeping communities safe, cracking down on bad/innapropriate behavior, and demonstrate their leadership capabilities. This opportunity is available only to those aged 15 and older. What is the Public Safety Department?
The Public Safety Department is a new department that will be in-charge of in-game theater and cinema moderation, event safety management, and crowd control. Members of the Public Safety Team will work in a rotational concept, where they will rove around a set of theaters during their shift to ensure that everyone is remaining appropriate. During times when management is not present in the main game, members of the Public Safety Team may also assist in making sure that the main cinema is being watched over properly. This department is one of the ways that CineBlox is cracking down on bad behavior, by ultimately re-inforcing a structured system to appropriately moderate our game.
Disclaimer on Roblox's new chat update: Public Safety Team members will use chatlogs to make sure that people are behaving in an appropriate manner. Additionally, this role is to make sure that people aren't doing any innapropriate movements or behaviors with their avatars.
The Safety Director will:
Guide the overall vision of the Public Safety Department, and create a new department model on how we effectively moderate our theaters during peak/non peak times. Create, design, and guide a unified framework that works seamlessely along Roblox's moderation systems and ToS.Manage a team of up to 70 individuals, ensuring that activity quotas are being properly met.Help with the upcoming hiring for members of the Public Safety Department, as well as re-occuring hiring. Help present at CineBlox-related events with department members.Be comfortable talking in VC: schedule “Outreach Sessions” for interested participants during hiring periods.Reports to President / Vice President on weekly/bi-weekly basis on department progress.
